When
arriving at a home, all program representatives should identify themselves
and their company; then show proper credentials.

All
work at the site or storage of materials therein, may be performed
Monday through Friday each week, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and
5:00 p.m. only, excluding holidays. Should it be necessary to work
on Saturdays, before 8:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m., the contractor
shall obtain prior consent from the City and the homeowner.

Construction
will be suspended during Thanksgiving week, Christmas and New Year’s
holidays.

Be
prompt for all scheduled appointments. Homeowner must receive advance
notification if contractor and/or sub-contractor is going to be late
or appointment must be rescheduled.

Prior
notification must be made and confirmed before each visit to the home.
Access should only be allowed after appointment is confirmed with
the homeowner.

All
contractors and sub-contractors must show respect for homeowner and
their property. All representatives must conduct themselves professionally.
The committing of nuisances on the subject properties and adjacent
property shall be rigorously prohibited.

All
contractors and sub-contractors must protect all homeowner areas when
working. The contractor shall provide, install and maintain temporary
protection, in the form of tarps, pads, drop cloths, covers or other
appropriate items, so as to minimize as much as possible any damages
to the premises or to its contents.

Representatives
should notify the Department of Port Control Noise Manager if and
when there is a safety, security, or damage issue during construction
at the work site by the end of that day’s work.

Throughout
the duration of the contract, the contractors and sub-contractors
must not solicit or engage in work for the homeowner verbally or in
writing until all work is completed and accepted by the City of Cleveland.

The
Contractor is required to exercise care and consideration during visits
and construction period.

At
all times, contractors and subcontractors must keep the work site
free from accumulation of waste material or rubbish and upon completion
of the work, shall remove all tools, equipment, surplus materials
and rubbish and leave the site of the work in a safe and proper condition.

Once
work has commenced at any given residence, the Contractor shall work
continuously at the residence until all work at the residence has
been completed.

The
contractor and sub-contractors shall proceed with installation work
only when weather conditions are in compliance with manufacturer’s
recommendations.

Repair
finishes during installation and construction period so that no evidence
remains of corrective work.

All
exploratory holes are to be repaired and finished to match existing
conditions.

The
contractor shall be responsible for providing and maintaining adequate
toilet facilities for his work crews and sub-contractors.

The
Contractor shall furnish a written warranty for installation of said
work for a period of one year from the date of Final Acceptance.
